Series 102 Flap Valves are designed for flange mounting direct to concrete walls, embedded thimbles, pipe flanges, or curved manhole wall tiles. Valves are capable of withstanding face pressures to 20meters head and the cracking or opening pressure is determined by the angle of the valve body and the addition of counterweights. BNW flap valves can be directly mounted to concrete, however for new installations of valves larger than 599mm, we recommend the inclusion of a BNW Wall Thimble to achieve the ideal surface for a zero leakage solution.
